A weekly sound-art jam and community at Catalyst
teachyourselftofly is a weekly curated sound art practice and community at Catalyst, exploring improvisation and experimental approaches to performance and deep listening.
Open to everyone, no skills or equipment needed. Students from music, film, theatre and beyond are invited to connect, experiment and express freely using everyday materials, bodies and voices.Â
Each session follows a loose theme or idea such as text scores, collective improvisation, silent film scoring or sound and memory exercises, while staying open to participants’ input. You are welcome to bring your own concepts or projects to explore with the group — a space to experiment, take risks, and embrace failure together.
