Artistry Connect: share your work

Wednesday 28 January, 18:30, Co-Lab 3

Artistry Connect is a social space for students to come together, share what they’re working on and connect with peers from across the school.

Whether you’re developing a track, shaping a film, experimenting with sound, writing, performing or exploring visual work, this is a chance to step outside your classroom and show your work to your peers. Finished pieces are welcome but works in progress are very much encouraged.

Format includes sharing, listening and feedback.
You can expect to:

  • share your work in an informal, supportive setting
  • connect with students from different disciplines and programmes
  • discover new perspectives and potential collaborators
  • gain inspiration from what others in your community are creating
  • Bring a link or file that represents your current work. This might be audio, video or another media format. If you’re not quite ready to present your own work, you’re welcome to bring an artist or portfolio that inspires you. Choosing someone connected to your cultural or geographic background can be a great way to spark conversation.

Artistry Connect is also for those who prefer to listen, observe and get a sense of what’s happening across the school. Sometimes simply being in the room is where ideas and connections begin.
