We're excited to announce that the first round of submissions are now open for Signals Festival 2021!
Exploring art and technology, Signals Festival is our annual showcase of Catalyst Berlin’s emerging and diverse creative communities. A non-profit, educational event with live performances, installations, screenings, workshops and in-depth dialogue.
We want you to be a part of it! Please submit your application to take part by completing the form below. This form is for all current students, alumni and team who would like to submit a project in one of the following ares:
- live performance
- short film
- installation
- workshop
- DJ set
- behind the scenes (work experience)

Dates:
- Round 1 submission deadline: Friday 11th June
- Festival dates: 15-16 October, 2021
- There will be a second round for submissions, but note there will be less places available in round 2
Please note:
- We welcome "works in progress" at this stage of the application process. We will request more detailed planning and materials as we get closer to the event
- You can submit multiple projects
- Theme: For 2021’s festival we explore if we are heading for a utopia or dystopia, and how art & technology can determine that direction. What does artistic expression look like in a sustainable community and what is our responsibility as artists to transform the wider social, political & industrial landscapes?
- Your project doesn't need to address this year's theme, but we encourage projects that do
