/// About
Exploited, poisoned, bombed. Human destructiveness and its consequences is the theme of the next "Mensch, Musik!” concert, as we look to music for inspiration and resolution.
From Debussy’s romantic musings in “La Mer” to Cerrone’s eerie exploration of the threat of extinction, to Penderecki’s “Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima”, and Sarah Nemtsov’s call for healing: the performance brings together composers’ responses to humanity’s relationship with nature and our impact on the world.
In addition to this, students of the Creative Production Masters degree are taking over the foyer of the Haus des Rundfunks to create an interactive installation exploring inversions of nature vs machine.
